About me
Vocalist, improviser, songwriter, philosopher
Music is my response to the absurdity of existence
Thesis
is not a statement set in stone, but an open proposition. In my music, sound is a space of dialogue — with listeners, collaborators, and the environments I work within. Through this exchange, I allow myself to be shaped, questioned, and transformed, trusting that my practice evolves through attentive listening, vulnerability, and shared presence.
SONGWRITING
TRANSFORMATION
It is a story of growth and change, drawing from relation with nature, leading by existential doubts, inner conflicts and unconscious desires, to healing and protective power.
It is a set of melancholic, subtle songs with ethereal vocals and magical, illustrative backgrounds – result of cooperation with composer and producer Joel Godfrey.
IMPROVISATIONS
Guided by soft intuitions, I am trying to create an immersive atmosphere by whispering protective spells, dialoguing with surroundings, and expressing emotions through an invented language—intuitively understandable or beyond interpretation.
PIANO COMPOSITIONS
In the middle of NowHere
is a minimalist piano set interwoven with field recordings. At its core lies “Fyrsta flugið í fjallaðalum” – soundgraphy of dissapearing soundscapes. Although distant for many, still affect the areas of the collective unconscious where nature is our one and only home.
PERFORMANCE
My performance practice is rhizomatic. Like Deleuzian rhizome I would like to connect with an audience, other collaborators, different methods, techniques and surroundings in non-hierarchical network.
I have performed with different instrumentalists and worked closely with visual artists and dancers, creating interdisciplinary performances where sound, movement, and image meet in a shared, intimate, often improvised space.
